R. Kelly‘s live-in girlfriends pushed back Wednesday against claims they’re being held captive by the embattled singer. Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary ac-cused their parents of lying about their relationships with the singer in exchange for money. “I’m crying because you guys don’t know the truth. You guys are believing this f–ing facade our parents are saying,” says Azriel Clary in a clip of an interview that will air with CBS This Morning Friday.
“Its all f–king lies for money, and if you can’t see that, you’re ignorant and you’re stupid.” In his own interview with the network Wednesday morning, the R&B star ac-cused the girls’ parents of handing them over to him for money.

“What kind of father, what kind of mother would sell their daughter to a man?” he said.In response, Savage’s parents held a press conference where they denied the singer’s claims. Their lawyer, Gerald Griggs, said that “at no point” did his clients meet with, request or receive money from the R&B star.
“If you’re seeing this message, please know I love you,” said Savage’s mom Jonjelyn. “Nothing that we’ve done was to embarrass you, it’s because we care about your well-being.”
Their 23-year-old daughter called them about 30 minutes after the press conference to assure them that she’s OK and happy with the 52-year-old artist.
“I have told you guys a million million times that I am OK,” Savage told her parents. “Like I said mom, I am happy where I’m at. I am very happy.”
Savage’s family has repeatedly ac-cused Kelly of brainwashing their daughter and holding her captive as part of a s-x cult. They say they haven’t heard from her in two years. The “I Believe I Can Fly” singer is out on bond on 10 counts of ag-gravated s-xual ab-use in Chicago.
